Kinnarps has a total of eight different production plants, six in Sweden and two in Germany. Production/assembly can be found in the following locations; Kinnarp, Jönköping, Skillingaryd, Vinslöv, Tranås (2) in Sweden; Minden and Worms in Germany. The largest of these is located in Kinnarp.

Kinnarps was founded in 1942 by Jarl and Evy Andersson.

Kinnarps is a 100% family owned enterprise and is today owned by children and grandchildren of Jarl and Evy Andersson. Some of the owners are active within the company.
